Future Earth workshop on extreme events

Michael and Jasper participated in a Future Earth workshop on ‚Extreme Events and Environments from Climate to Society‘ in Berlin organised within the framework of the E3S project, where Michael, jointly with Kirsten Thonike (PIK Potsdam), co-convened a session on the adaptive capacity of coupled socio-ecological systems to absorb climate extremes, and where Jasper gave a young scientist talk on tree mortality.
